Comedian Doug Powell is not quite mainstream yet, however, I found him on collegehumor and found his comedian act funny. Doug Powell talks of how tired he is of getting boring party invites with sloppy taglines. Doug Powell thinks that invitations should be more daring than saying “Be there or Be square,” and has his own spin off of funny invitation taglines that would work better, “Come to the party or we will kill your family” sounds better.

Doug Powell continues on to talk about his rants with some new technology, such as a washer machine with the option to email you whenever you clothes are done washing, and Doug Powell puts it into a perspective only a comedian such as himself could.
