Comedian George Carlin has been going for years with clever and angry
stand-up routines. The funny man has been losing his hair at a rate
commensurate with the whitening of his beard, and getting funnier and
more outraged with age.

In this all-perfect routine, George Carlin rattles off a funny diatribe
against organised religion. Hiding behind comedy, he says he really
tried hard to be a believer. Unfortunately, the longer he has lived,
the harder it has become to reconcile the bad events in the world, plus
the threats of hell-fire, death and damnation - with a supreme being
who loves us all.

Comedian Carlin has never died on stage, although if he got in front of
the wrong bible-bashing crowd, perhaps he would be struck down by
lightening. Then again, he put the thunderbolt from heaven theory to
the test. Needless to say, nothing happened, except a pain in his
testicle and a round of applause.
