Dane Cook, known as one of the best comedians in America right now for his roles in HBO’s Tourgasm and recent movies such as Employee of the Month has made a mark upon the comedian community that will bring inspiration to the comedian community and laughs into our homes and theatres around the United States. Whether its Dane Cook’s comedian view on his life growing up, or his want for snake powers, Dane Cook is sure to cause a tidal wave of comedy wherever he steps foot.

Dane Cook was born March 18, 1972 in the big city of Boston to his parents, Donna and George Cook. It was in Boston that Dane Cook grew up with five sisters and one brother, and maintained having a job at such places as Burger King and Video Horizons, a slow start for the soon to be comedian superstar.

Dane Cook seeked to get out of his life of flipping burgers and used a talent he had known as comedy. He decided to try out in 1998 for Comedy Central’s standup comedy showcase “Premium Blend” which at the time was one of the best Comedy Central shows having to do with standup comedy and was accepted which started his career under Comedy Central, that next year he appeared in two more career noters. Dane Cook appeared on the networks “Comics Come Home” series which gained him more recognition and later played a role in Dennis Rodman’s “Simon Sez” film which was straight-to-video.

Althought this film was straight-to-video Dane Cook’s previous roles on the Comedy Central series of shows led him into a lead role in Comedy Central’s “Crank Yankers” which also held a cast of many other well-known comedians in 2002 and 2003.

2003 was one of Dane Cook’s best years. He was playing his role on “Crank Yankers”, and had the oppurtunity to release his first comedian album “Harmful If Swallowed” which came packaged with a Comedy Central Special featuring Dane Cook. Then later in 2003 Dane Cook wrote, directed, and acted in the movie “8 Guys”, beginning his acting career.

With all of Dane Cook’s past successes and comedian acts filling the stadiums with nail-biting fans, his fame is only to rise and the years to come hold much for Dane Cook. In 2005 Dane Cook launch his own comedian tour titled “Tourgasm”, Dane Cook along with other notable comedians Gary Gulman, Robert Kelly, and Jay Davis which, all together, make the “Tourgasm” tour almost orgasm worthy.

Dane Cook who began as a burger flipper movie renter has achieved so much in just these past few years it leaves you to wonder where Dane Cook will be in four years to come, and scary to think where he will be in ten. With his comedian success and talent he deserves it all through his orginal jokes that only a comedian mind such as Dane Cook’s can create.
